This page sets out the terms of use for the Embark Dog Walking website and my privacy practices. Embark Dog Walking (“I”, “me”, “my”) is a dog walking service based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. For questions, use my contact form or call 07583 399561.
Terms of use
1. Who these terms apply to
By using this website or booking my services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book with me.
2. My services
I provide professional dog walking and related services in Royal Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas within my published coverage radius. Service details, prices, and availability are described on this website and confirmed when you book. I may refuse or end a booking if I reasonably believe a dog is not a suitable fit for group walks, or if continuing would put dogs, people, or property at risk.
3. Bookings and payments
Bookings are subject to availability and any trial or assessment I require. Prices are as stated on this website unless I agree otherwise in writing. You are responsible for providing accurate information about your dog (including health, behaviour, and contact details) and for ensuring someone authorised can hand over and collect your dog at the agreed times.
4. Your responsibilities
You must ensure your dog is vaccinated, treated for parasites as appropriate, and (where required for group walks) neutered in line with my stated policies. You must tell me promptly about any medical, behavioural, or other issues that could affect a walk. Lead, harness, and ID tag requirements may apply as I advise.
5. Website content
Content on this website is for general information only. I aim to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or up to date. Photos and descriptions are illustrative of my walks and may not represent every outing.
6. Intellectual property
Website text, branding, and images are owned by Embark Dog Walking or used with permission. You may not copy, reuse, or redistribute them for commercial purposes without my prior written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to that, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. For walking services, my insurance and any separate client agreement terms apply as discussed when you book.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their local courts where the law allows.
9. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when I do. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
